Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Nairobi → Sirimon Gate → Old Moses CampDrive from Nairobi to the Sirimon gate, trek through montane forest to Old Moses Camp at 3,300m. 3–4 hours walking.

Day 2Old Moses → Shipton's CampCross the moorland zone past giant lobelia to Shipton's Camp at 4,200m beneath the peaks. 6–7 hours walking.

Day 3Summit Point Lenana → descend to Old MosesPre-dawn start to summit Point Lenana (4,985m) for sunrise, then descend back to Old Moses Camp. 8–10 hours walking.

Day 4Old Moses → Sirimon Gate → NairobiFinal descent through forest to the gate and transfer back to Nairobi. 2–3 hours walking.
